Intended to train the eye in accordance with successful typeface combinations, or rather how to most effectively pair multiple typefaces, I envisioned an overall atypical layout to match the distinct main typeface. Pairing the lively P22 Arts and Crafts Hunter font with lighter, more mono Alegreya Sans Light allowed for visual balance. Additionally, using small caps for dish and drink names enables improved visibility, in addition to elevating the clean aesthetic. Menu 1 has a basic two column structure with smaller groupings on the left, leaving signature dishes, add-ons, the address and logo to the right. Menu 2 displays a horizontally-inclined layout sitting atop a vertically-inclined layout. Under the header, a three column system rests above a two column format; a line runs along the bottom of the menu dividing the text from the logo.
